The Africrooz-e is designed for urban commuting and light off-road use, the Africrooz-e combines efficiency with eco-friendliness. It features a robust frame, a powerful electric motor, and a rechargeable battery that provides a substantial range on a single charge. The bike is equipped with multiple gears to accommodate various terrains and riding conditions. Additional features include front and rear lights for safety, a comfortable saddle, and a rear rack for carrying cargo. The Africrooz-e is well-suited for individuals seeking a sustainable and practical transportation solution in and around Windhoek.

The Africrooz-E is an affordable, eco-friendly, and quiet electric bike featuring a 250W geared back hub motor, a 36V/13Ah battery, a sturdy frame supporting up to 75 kg on its rear rack, and a top speed of 25 km/h with a range of 20-30 km per charge, making it ideal for daily commuters, students, and entrepreneurs seeking a sustainable and efficient rental option.

It was developed with our partners EURIST e.V. (NGO based in Hamburg and Kampala) – in close cooperation with FABIO Uganda (First African Bicycle Information Organisation) and EBIKES4AFRICA (Namibia). We are convinced that affordable solar-powered e-bikes can be a sustainable solution for many people on the African continent. The African E-Bike was developed for this purpose.
