Overview

The Chiller-Trike is designed to be used as a mobile vending unit for the transportation and distributing of various temperature sensitive products.

With its 88-liter insulated box and three wheel designed frame, it can easily hold a large number of products with accessibility to local markets, entertainment events, sports events, mall pop up shops, etc. It comes with removable liquid panels that can be pre-frozen and used to keep content at a steady temperature.

Although the unit is mobile and has space for an appropriate level of products, equipping multiple Chiller-Trikes with a mobile delivery trike will increase practicality and sustainability if the trikes are located at various locations.

The approach with the trike is 70% marketing and 30% sales. Although potential clients will have the convenience of purchasing items from this cart before they have to go to a store and choose between different brands, our mission is that the unique features of the Chiller-Trike will stimulate uniqueness and cause an excitement to a surrounding crowd     

Market Segment

We aim to attract companies that sell and promote RTE products, as the unit only aims to distribute products and little to no manufacturing is suggested on the units.

Businesses that sell beverages, ready made meals or lunches, ice cream or even deli’s will benefit most from this unit, however we have also found that butcheries have shown interest for the informal markets as a majority of the markets do not have access to butcheries or cooling facilities.
