E-BIKES 4 WINDHOEK

E-Bikes for Windhoek: a Project for the Peri-urban Commuter
Transport in Windhoek can be a struggle. And a very expensive one at it. So we've partnered with a local bank to provide commuters with an affordable pay-off plan to own an E-Bike. As an added benefit, we've combined our E-bikes with solar powered E-hubs, where riders can not only swop batteries or maintain their bikes, but also gain access to employment, training, and knowledge transfer.

We're focussed on building sustainable future cities and communities via transport alternatives and renewable energies – join us!

DID YOU KNOW?  E-Bikes costs less than a car or taxi, is much faster in traffic, and will always bring you right up to the front door of your destination.

The SunCycle concept is a great mix between affordable transportation, usability, and convenience. It could be the sustainable non air-polluting solution to the scooter used so extensively as a mode of transport. Fast developing Namibia should embrace these ideas and bypass the smog problems of big cities elsewhere in developing countries. For a sustainable future initiatives like these are the driving factors of change in Namibia.

E-Bikes Empowering Commuters

Made accessible through an affordable pay-off plan, our E-Bikes cater for Windhoek's peri-urban commuters – at a fraction of the cost of the taxi and more flexible than any other vehicle.

Supporting Non Motorised Transport in Windhoek

The City of Windhoek is currently developing a NMT Network. Our E-Bikes play an important part in supporting this initiative, by taking people out of the car and onto a more sustainable alternative.

E-Hubs as Solar Service Stations

A network of E-Hubs offers rentals, recharge and basic maintenance services throughout the City. These also provides a convenient battery swapping system – 100% powered by the sun.
